All you have to do is call our shuttle operator at 08 9472 4222 and the driver is going to pick you up from the terminal. This facility is “Complementary” if the booking is done 24 hours prior and is available only when you choose Airport Terminals (T1, T2, T3 or T4) in the location option while making online booking.

Is there a Security Bond for renting vehicles?

Yes, we charge security bond while renting vehicles to customers. Security bond amount varies depending upon which vehicle is being rented out. Please talk to our friendly representative at the counter to inform you about your security bond.

What happens if I return late?
If you are late beyond 60 minutes from your return time, you will be charged one extra day of fees.
Why have I been charged a Cleaning Fee?

Ace rent a car believes in offering clean and well-maintained vehicles to its esteemed customers. If a vehicle is returned in the dirty condition or if dust, sand, cigarette odour or burn marks are found inside the vehicle, customer will have to bear the cleaning fees.

Is there a way I can reduce my liability for accidents while renting the vehicle?
All our vehicles are comprehensive insured with a fixed amount of excess, which is your liability in case of an accident. However, we do offer ‘excess reduction’ at a small cost, which provides peace of mind. In the event of an accident it reduces your financial liability to a small amount. Check the options while booking online or call us at 08 9472 4222 to know more about reducing your damage liability. Please note excess reduction is on per event basis.
What is required to book my rental car?
You need a full driving license which is valid for the last 2 years and a valid credit card in your name (Master, Visa or AMEX) to book the vehicle. At the time of vehicle pickup you need to be carrying 100pt check IDs with you. Customers with ‘P’ Plate and ‘L’ plates are not allowed to rent the cars. Ace Rent A Car reserves the right to refuse to rent a vehicle.
Are there any reservation cancellation charges?
No cancellation fee if the booking is cancelled 48 hours prior to pickup date. You will be charged 1 day rental fees plus GST if you cancel one day prior to pick up. However, in case of No Show or cancellation on the pickup date you will be charged 3 days rental plus GST. From 15 Dec – 15 Jan booking cancellations will attract 3 day rental fees plus GST.
Can I use a credit card that is not in my name?

No, hirer must have the card in their own name.

What must I do in the event of an accident or if vehicle breaks down?

In case if you have an accident, the first thing you should do is contact the police to complete an accident report. Take the details of other drivers license and his insurance company. Take lots of pictures of accident site and accidental vehicles.

Once this has been done contact our office and we will guide you thereafter.

How far can i drive from Perth?

See the map below. Pink area is where you can drive the vehicle. The Hirer is advised to refer to our geofence showing areas of permitted travel to Exmouth in North (Coastal Road only), Kalgoorlie in East and Esperance in South of WA. However, if you venture outside these areas, the vehicle insurance is revoked and you will be charged $500 per day that you remain outside the permissible area.

Where do I pick or drop the vehicle?
Pick and drop locations are mentioned on your contract. These locations are what you selected while making the booking. Please check all the details before you sign the contract. We have 3 locations in Perth where you can choose to return the vehicle.
What happens in the event of vehicle break down?

1 hour- 2hour delay — Half (½) the daily rate

2hrs + delay — 1 Full Day Charge

Returning late will also result in additional charges for services like GPS, Child Seats, Excess Reduction etc

We operate 24X7 for pickup and drop-offs, booking has to be made at least 24 hours earlier. Please note that after hour service charges may apply.
